1UP USA Bike Rack Bicycle Carrier Quick Rack Single. This is an earlier generation. It works great, except the mechanism that holds the arms in place is the old design which relies on friction. It works great on smaller or lighter bikes, but with bigger mountain bikes the arms will loosen a bit as you go over bumps.

I use this with some Velcro loops around the arm and through the inside of the bike wheel. Bike stays put that way. Other than the slippage, it fully functional, and ready to last a few more decades. There is some oxidation and normal signs of wear but all in all very solid shape.

I found a good deal on some black add-ons so Im taking the plunge on a black double rack to cover our whole fam. No real need to do anything to use as is when you have the Velcro (which Ill include). But, you CAN upgrade by ordering the updated parts from 1UP then youd be 100% to modern spec with the ratcheting slider bar.

I can help you order parts if you want to do this. Its about 60 bucks in parts and you can do it yourself. Comes with hex key to tighten hitch for zero wobble.
