Assembly was a little tricky, but I figure it out. Once you lay it all out, insert bolts while flat (dont tighten) them flip it to its side, with a slight bend and attach the top braces.

Then tighten everything and done!! Jesus Christ this thing is tough. We took it on an off-road trail with the Wrangler in Big Bend National Park. We beat the everloving crap out of it and it held our gas/cooler/chairs like a mother clutching her children in a hurricane. After the trip it looked like a battered spouse but still held up nicely.
