Motorcycle/Scooter hitch carrier/Scooter Class 3 (2" square receiver)for up to 560 lb capacity scooter or the smaller motorcycles up to 76" long (wheel end to end). Wheel end to end is arrived at by adding the wheelbase to the one larger tire outer diameter. Most scooter manufacturers report overall length which will include shrouding (front and rear) plus storage containers that stick-out past the rear tire. The tires shouldn't be wider than 150 mm or 6.0 to fit inside the tray.

They are used to demonstrate how the carrier works! The carrier is also interchangeable for later upgrades/changes to the tray size for adaptability on other vehicles. (in case you change hauling vehicles). Other accessories can be readily added later as you get experience with the carrier ie bolt on or magnetic lights and vertical stabilizer bars to improve the stability during travel and increase the ground clearance of the carrier. You will find they are not recommended for RV's where a lot of road hazards(harsh road service) breaks the cheap ones apart and they can no longer can recommend them!

The dimension on the carrier shown here are: 15 and 19: from hitch pin to center of cycle tray. (others available) It is fully adjustable by moving the tray on the receiver assembly to the other bolt patterns available. Scooters are inherently weighted toward the rear due to the rear engine mounting and thus need adjustment to compensate.

To offset this weight and not overload the hitch by excess twist(torsion), the mounting position can be adjusted on the carrier by selecting the proper holes from center to a maximum of an 8" rear offset in increments of 3.75". The carrier comes complete with a 60 long loading ramp for a gentle incline and stores easily on the carrier, integrated anti-wobble/anti-tilt and a pair of cam lock style tie downs. The carrier consists of a heavy duty welded steel receiver assembly: Class 2 or Class 3, please specify(1-1/4" or 2" square);main carrier tray measuring 6" wide x 72" long with wheel slot, loading ramp measuring 6" wide x 60" long plus 2 cam lock style ties for the wheels.

You add 2-4 tie downs. The integrated anti-chock/anti-tilt is guaranteed to work on ANY HITCH.

(the collar type offered by others do not work on many factory hitches including many GM factory hitches) THIS CARRIER ALSO HAS 4 HEAVY DUTY TIE DOWN POINTS, most of the competition usually offers 4-6. Tie down points with thin bracketry.

Typical cycles that will fit on this carrier: Yamaha Vino, Yamaha Zuma, All Kymco 150, Vespa LX150, Keyway Matrix 150, Buddy 50, Fly 50;Lotus50 , Honda Elite108cc, Peace Industry 50 and most dirt bikes up to 100 cc. These unit will not work on cycles or scooters with tires width exceeding 150mm or 6.0" to lengths greater 76" long.
